Tall Card

Hi, I play along along again in Caardvarks Challenge, Friday Sketcher and The Secret Crafter.

Caardvarks ask about tall card.
Friday Sketcher give the sketch.

Here's my card.

Tall card with diagonal top.
the torn papers are applied in oranges shapes on right top and the handwriting sentiment.
Hmm.. i think oranges and love are good for the recovery :)

My First Stamping Card ^_^

This is my 2nd challenge and this is my first stamp :)
I participate at Friday Sketchers and Secret Crafter.
And this is my project. Enjoy it :)

As background, I use traditional pattern of my country (Indonesia), batik.
Proudly, UNESCO had declared the tools to make Indonesian batik pattern, canting and wax, as one of the international culture heritage in 2 Oct 2009 :)
The triangle pattern is called tumpal. It generally used as the center of interest in formal clothes.

My stamp are from MSE. The heart and the sentiment "sweetie" and "pie."
They are cute, right?
I really love them. And I'm enjoying my experience in stamping.
I think it's not as difficult as I though :)

Here's another angle..

I like the pearls along the scallop binder edge. It's so pretty.
And do u see the gem beads arranged in heart shape?
It's very fit to be there :)

My First Challenge

This is the first time i join a challenge.
I'm a newbie in making card.
I even don't have any stamp yet!

This challenge is from Caardvarks and i'm really excited to take a part coz it's about using ribbon in a wonderful way!
Awesome!
I have a lot of ribbons so i think this is my turn :)

And,
I made flowers from my ribbons. I arranged it to be a bunch of flowers. Ta daa...!
I cover the end of pin with flower coz it's sharp.

Loras Candy

What a great candy!

it contains:

• 7 reels of ribbon
• 3 wood mounted stamps (christmas bauble by Papermania and 2 Glasgow Motifs 1 tiny and 1 medium.
• pack of paper wire (orange and blue)
• pack of assorted gold brads (hearts, stars, flowers and plain)
• pack of stringy stuff in little bundles (no idea what that is about lol)
• pack of quilling strips (thick ones)
• 25 clear plastic bags for small tall cards
• pack of 5 assorted tissue paper (this is handmade paper not normal thin tissue paper)
• assortment of aperture and shaped cards (apertures are bells)
• assortment of papers, including handmade, mulberry, patterned etc. Doesn't look a lot in the pic but there is about 40 or more A4 sheets.
• 45 handmade paper c6 envelopes. Assorted colours,textures and patterns.

And still Loras will also add a pile of stamped images and whatever else she find before the candy ends :)

hmm.. i love ribbons, the stamps are cute, gold brads are great idea :)
paper wire? wow, it's interesting to try!
plastic bags will be very useful.
tissue paper? another creativity :)
40 papers? gosh! it's really delicious :D
and 45 envelopes too!
